After a rough start to my day, this video cheered me up. Wonderful video by Ryan White featuring Jill Enfield. I had a darkroom in my basement from 1987 to 1993 and it was always a magical place. I don’t really miss it though since it took so much time, money and the chemicals upset my breathing. I still miss shooting film at times, but I’m happy to be shooting digital now.
I took this photo back on July 31, 2001 with the second digital camera I had owned by that time. It was a 3MP Kodak DC4800 that I remember paying just short of $1,000 for in March 2001. The Casino had so many lights out front back then. The shops downtown had a lot of neon lights alive back then too.
